Hey, White Girl has paved the way to conversations around race, educational equity, and issues unique to Richmond. I have teamed up with organizations such as Coming Together Virginia, Teach for America, and The Gary Flowers Show to discuss these issues. I am available to collaborate with your religious or community group to provide experiences surrounding these topics.
Getting back into the classroom is fun for me! If your students are reading Hey, White Girl and want a visit from the author to discuss the book or the writing process, let me know.
